Locate/Modify MS Word Template

I chose the Weekly Assignments template. I think this is a great way for students to up with what is due. You wouldn't have to think about what you have or haven't done, you can just pull out your weekly assignment calendar. This is an opportunity for you to write your assignments and put the due date. This will ensure you that knew what assignment you had and when it was due so there would be no excuses.

Instead of having assignment for the month I changed the days of the week to "assignment," "due date," "grade," and "next exam date." I did this is so for each subject the student is to put the assignments they have for that week, the date the assignment is due, the grade they have in the class, and the date of their next exam for that class. I also change where it said "month" to "week" and i put a date for that week. At the bottom of the chart, i put a line for the student to sign and for me to sign.

I plan to use this template in my classroom to help my students out. Sometimes they have a lot of assignments in which they may forget one or two but by writing them all down on this template, it will help them get their work done. I want to help students to succeed in the best way possible so i feel as if helping them know something is due and knowing their grade is a way to do that. With this students will know their assignments, when it due, and their grade. They can even put notes at the bottom just in case they have a question or need a tutor or something of that nature.

Locate/Research Teacher Resources

The first resource I would use would be games. Games offer opportunities for playful learning. the range of games available and incorporating those games and game tools can be intimidating. Games simulations or tools already exist that can be used to meet goals. Games and education that are content-driven are still evolving. Having games in the classrooms give students the opportunity to explore content from another point of view. It also allows them to learn through teaching and simulating by creating a game. Learning through games helps with teamwork and collaboration. This will allow me to expand my teaching strategies.
My second resource would be presentation software. When designing a presentation such as a PowerPoint, it is important to know what is appropriate or inappropriate. It depends on how the visual is placed within the context of the presentation. Most of the time it is a good idea to make the visual and presentation simple so you will not confused the learners and so they can get a clear understanding of the content and context. There are many different types of presentation software that I could use. Using this method of teaching will allow me to help the students learn by visuals, activities, PowerPoint, lectures, etc. I also chose this method because when students see such visuals and things, it allows them to put an image with words. This can help them to describe what is going on or to know the connection between the context.
